The WC.475 Series is for new construction use and has the superior strength of 4 1/2” frames with brick mold inside our extruded vinyl. The added height can accommodate larger openings. They can be very effectively matched with Window City Casement and Awning window units to create a seamless sense of architectural integrity throughout the home, while maximizing the glass sight lines. Architects and homebuilders have used our High Profile Picture Windows to create some outstanding home designs. - Fusion-welded frame and sash corners add strength, security and prevent cold air infiltration.
- 4 1/2” thick frame has brick mould incorporated into the extruded vinyl, making it structurally stronger than most uPVC windows.
- Multi-chambered design adds strength, improves insulation, provides better drainage and prevents condensation.
- Part of the extended 4 1/2” frame is a drywall or wood return for even greater strength and seamless integration with the room’s interior.
- Interior glazing system with co-extruded flexible seal on sash and frame eliminates water leakage into the home.
- Drainage channel in front of exterior sash is hidden from interior view.
- 3/4” insulated double-strength glass with ultra dual warm edge seal for optimum energy efficiency.
